Liposuction Video articles
Concepts of Beauty
To establish and achieve a beautiful body we feel that the lines should be coherent and the
silhouette should be perfect with no bulges in the wrong places. Unfortunately, some people
have got a heredity tendency to develop fat or deposit fat in the wrong places like the hips,
thighs, abdomen, knees, ankles, face or neck. These types of patients are suitable for
liposuction

How is liposuction performed.
The tumescent technique is a method that provides local anaesthesia to large volumes of
subcutaneous fat and thus permits liposuction totally by local anaesthesia. This process will
make the fat extraction very easy and virtually painless.
The operation is performed under complete sterile conditions. Areas to be treated are
preoperatively marked and disinfected, the tumescent solution is infiltrated and once the
anaesthesia has made the desired effect, the excess fat is removed using cannulas of
different sizes.

Possible complications and suitability
Suitability for this type of treatment, as with any other treatment, will be assessed by the
surgeon at consultation, but is based on several factors, such as the quality and elasticity of the
skin, the amount of fat requiring removal and the general condition of the patient and past medical
history.
The specifics are best discussed with the surgeon for a complete understanding of the potentials
in any individual case.
